Every autumn we do the same exercise in the studio: take everything off the rail, then put back only what we wore in the last year. The pile that stays behind is always bigger than we expect.
Start with what you wear
Look at the five pieces you reach for without thinking. They tell you your real colours, your real fits and the fabrics you trust. Build around them.
The best wardrobe is the one where everything goes with everything else.
Buy less, buy once
When something does need replacing, buy the best version you can afford and plan to keep it for ten years. Wool, leather and good denim all get better with age.
