A black dress has nowhere to hide. Every seam, every hem length and every choice of fabric shows. That is exactly why we love designing one.
Proportion first
We start with the shoulder and the waist and work outwards. A dress that fits well in those two places can be worn for almost anything.
Pair it with a straw hat in summer and a roll-neck underneath in winter. It is the same dress, worn two completely different ways.
