layers fine under my coat and the ribbed hem stays put. light colour does show marks so I spot clean carefully. warm without feeling bulky

Soft ecru wool in a natural off-white that is much warmer than stark white. Straight fit with a longer back hem is really comfortable. I have worn it with jeans, a pleated skirt and trousers. Hand washed cold and dried flat, held its shape.

Crew neck sits well and the ribbed hem and cuffs are tidy. A bit of fuzz on the sleeves after some wear, which I trimmed off. Warm without being bulky.

The wool is a bit coarse on the neckline and I could not wear it without a layer underneath. Undyed wool may just be like that. Cut and colour are lovely, which is why it is disappointing.

Thank you for being specific. Undyed wool can feel more textured than treated yarns, especially at the collar. A thin cotton layer underneath is the usual workaround, and we are passing your note on to the team.
